We specialise in the supply and processing of stainless steel wire, our wire is of the highest quality produced to a wide range of diameters and tensile strengths to suit customer applications. Our aim is to work with leading manufacturers that “innovate” and strive for perfection in quality. We keep the largest stocks of stainless steel wire in the UK for immediate delivery. In addition we can cut to length, change the shape of the wire or process to smaller coils.

We can also produce unique sizes, grades or tensile strengths to order. We aim to work closely with our customers so that material can be available for immediate delivery without customers having second guess their future demands as a result they are able to reduce their own inventory levels.

Applications

Our wire is used in a wide range of industries and applications, some of the key ones are construction, spring manufacture, wire forming, cold heading, medical instruments, automotive and architectural.

Sizes

Our standard stock range of wire diameters varies from 0.1mm up to 8.00mm diameter, above that we also have stocks in cut lengths, we can supply up to 25mm dia in coil form.

Tensile

The wires are manufactured to suit our customers and industry standard applications so at one end we have very soft wires that are formable by hand with tensile strengths of around 500 – 600 N/mm2 at the other end of the scale we keep wires with a tensile strength above 1600 N/mm2 that are “rock hard”.

Packaging

Stainless steel wire can be supplied in coils from 0.5 kgs up 800 kgs all in one complete coil dependent on diameter. Material can be supplied on carrier less cores, formers or spools. We can supply on heat treated pallets and export around the world.

Coatings and finish

Wires can be supplied and many finishes and coatings as required, from bright finishes to dull, suitable for electro polishing or with extra lubricants and coatings to suit the secondary processing.
