Blue Stainless Steel Banding from BS Stainless

In addition to our standard range of Stainless Steel Banding which is silver in colour we are now launching a new Stainless Steel Banding which comes in Blue!

Not to worry though because it is still the high quality stainless steel banding that we have been supplying for years, a standard stainless steel substrate only now it has a Blue coloured Polyester coating on one or both sides. This is ideal for identification purposes for key areas of safety, alternatively this can be done for aesthetic reasons also in order to match the cladding or application that the band will be attached to.

The application of the colouring to the Stainless Steel Banding does not affect the substrate so you still have the long lasting stainless steel underneath which is highly resistant to corrosion.

In addition to the standard blue stock range other colours can be supplied and so if Blue simply just isn’t your colour then virtually any colour matched dependent on quantity. As mentioned this means that now for aesthetic reasons you can match your Stainless Steel Banding to the cladding or application that the banding will be attached too.

The paint can be applied to either one side or both sides of the moving strip of stainless steel during the production process. In a continuous process, the paint is cured and the Stainless Steel Banding or Stainless Steel Strip recoiled, resulting in a coil of Stainless Steel Banding with a formable uniform coating.

The banding or strapping which is commonly used in the insulation industry can be supplied with safe edges for handling, the coils can be supplied in tradition pancake coils produced to any weights required or alternatively in ribbon or traverse wound coils. The base material can be supplied as 304 or 316 stainless steel and packaged to customer requirements; all of this material is produced in the UK.
