Stainless steel surcharges rise

Surcharges for delivery of stainless steel in March 2010 have increased. The increases where widely expected throughout the industry with commodities rising with  nickel  surging above $20,000 per tonne on the LME. The biggest rise is for grade 316/1.4404 which has risen over 115 GBP per tonne.

1.4404 (316) 1962 EUR / 1713 GBP

1.4541 (321) 1343  EUR /  1173 GBP

1.4016 (430) 273  EUR / 238  GBP
