Our head office, manufacturing and distribution centre is based in Bamber Bridge near Preston, North West England, we specialise in the manufacturing, supply and processing of stainless steel coil,stainless steel banding, stainless steel wire, stainless steel welding wire ( MIG and TIG) and a wide range of other stainless steel products. From our head office we control manufacturing, sales, distribution and logistics throughout the UK and around the world as part of our global strategy.We where established in 1998 the majority of our staff come from the stainless steel industry so there is a wealth of knowledge and experiance that have helped us become one of the leading independent stainless steel suppliers in the UK.
In February 2013 due to organic growth and new products we relocated head office and manufacturing base near to Preston, Lancashire, it is located just 2 minutes from the M6/M61/M65 motorway network for full location details see map .We keep a huge stock level of wire, coil, sheet , banding , welding wire and accessories. We are able to manufacture to order including slit coil, cut to size blanks edge dress coil or banding, edge dressed sheet or blanks.
We are global supplier to a wide range of customers and industries around the world including Europe, Asia, America, Africa and the Middle East in total we have exported to over 32 countries. The long term aim for BS Stainless having significantly increased its Global supply base is to continue to expand internationally in to new markets.
Our investment in stainless steel stocks enables us to provide a wide range of products for immediate delivery, while our processing and manufacturing capabilities allow us to offer a custom service. Whether it’s slit to width coil, edge dressed coil, sheared to size sheet or plate, polished sheet, shaped wire or specialist nails we can meet your demands. To complement our cut to size range we can also offer an in house edge dressing / deburring facility for all our blanks or coil to improve safe handling. In order to be able to offer a complete supply solution we can offer additional processing, plasma cutting, and laser cutting, bar sawing, tube laser cutting, bending, forming and bevelling. If we do not have stock of your requirments we can either have produced by one of our quality approved manufacturers or sourced from our trading partner network, this includes special grades and alloys from Duplex to 904L in wire, coil or sheet.
As demand has grown for more diverse products we also supply alternatives to stainless steel including Aluzinc, Aluminized steel and Aludip. More customers are looking for us to supply finished products typically stainless steel screws, rivets , toggles and expansion springs. We also keep a full range of welding wire both MIG and TIG in stock for immediate delivery.
Our Global supply base results in both high quality materials and competitively priced products. With investments in a wide stock range and in house processing we can offer stock availability and on time solutions.
We are leading supplier to the oil and gas market with materials for thermal insulation, gaskets and mass transfer. We regularly attend exhibitions including LNG and Gastech were we have exhibited in Amsterdam and London and in 2014 will exhibit in Seoul, Korea.
As a quality assured company all our systems and products comply with ISO 9001:2008. We are also members of the British stainless steel association (BSSA) that enables enhanced technical support. We are also members of the British Chambers of Commerce.
